Uses
For the short term treatment of acute moderate pain which is not relieved by paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin alone, such as migraine attacks including the symptoms of migraine headache, nausea and vomiting. Treatment should always start with Migraleve Pink tablets.
Format and Ingredients
Yellow film-coated tablet containing:
Paracetamol 500mg
Codeine phosphate 8mg
Dosage
Do not take for more than three days continuously without medical review. Can cause addiction. 16 years and over (following treatment with pink tablet(s)): 2 yellow tablets every 4 hours if required. Maximum 6 yellow tablets in 24 hours. 12-15 years (following treatment with pink tablet(s): 1 yellow tablet every 4 hours if required. Maximum 3 yellow tablets in 24 hours. Under 12 years: not to be given.
