Gramegran 50mg film-coated tablets

Uses

For acute intermittent treatment of migraine attacks, with or without aura, where there is a clear diagnosis of migraine. Not to be used prophylactically.

Dosage

Adults 18-65 years: 1 tablet after the onset of a migraine attack. If the patient responds to the first dose but symptoms recur, a second dose may be taken, provided there is a minimum interval of 2 hours between doses. No more than 2 tablets (100mg) in any 24 hour period or to treat the same attack. Patients who do not respond to 1 tablet should not take a second tablet for the same attack. In these cases, paracetamol, acetylsalicylic acid or NSAIDs may be used. Gramegran may be taken for subsequent attacks. Over 65 years and under 18 years: not recommended.
